To provide a concise source of links to entities and matters relating to water quality in the Cape Fear Area- Especially in regards to the toxins in our Wilmington NC Water supply that you drink, bathe in, and brush your teeth with. Toxic chemicals in Wilmington NC drinking water should be a much bigger story.

We obtained the WilmingtonNCwater.org URL to remain as a reminder that there’s a lot of work to be done by our local and state governments, city council, the people of the Cape Fear Region, and others who want and deserve clean drinking water.
This project is meant to spark conversations between people, about what it takes to get clean water accessible to everyone who lives in Wilmington, NC. Where it goes from here, we don’t know. but speaking out is something.
Sure, you can get a water filter. You can buy bottled water,. You can take precautions. (If you can afford to.) but what if you don’t have the internet, or you have no other financial options but to drink from the tap?
A simple Google search of ” Wilmington NC Water Quality” should be alarming enough.
PFAS / GEN X / FOREVER CHEMICALS ARE STILL A BIG ISSUE AROUND THE CAPE FEAR WILMINGTON AREA, and assuredly, beyond here… But we live here, so we’re starting locally.
